'Be nature nice!'
'Bí dóighiúil don dúlra!'
There are seven Native Tree Trails in Dublin City Council Parks. Four are located on the southside of the city in Bushy Park in Terenure, Markievicz Park, Ballyfermot, Herbert Park in Ballsbridge and Lansdowne Valley Park, Inchicore. On Dublin's northside, there are trails at Poppintree Park in Ballymun, Johnstown Park, Finglas and Albert College Park in Glasnevin.

The Tree Trails will help to introduce you to a selection of Ireland's native trees. In each park, there are 15 native trees with information signposts. To find them you can navigate your way around the park using the Native Tree Trail Booklet. Each trail has its own booklet complete with a trail map and is packed with interesting and fun facts about native trees as well as plenty of space to sketch your tree discoveries.

What to Do: Print out a copy of the booklet below and get your crayons. Head to your nearest Native Tree Trail and follow the instructions within the Tree Trail booklet.
